Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer best well-known for his role in Birdman. A versatile actor he is skilled in playing comedy as well as dramatic roles. He also has played some romantic characters as well as played in numerous action films during his professional career. His passion for the performing arts started in his teens. He began to try stand-up comedy during his 20s. Although his comedy career didn't go well however, it served as the basis for his career as an actor. He was unable to achieve the success he had as a comedian, so the next step was to become a cameraman for the cable channel. He discovered that his primary passion was in front the camera while he worked there. After landing a role in a television show, he appeared in many shows in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His natural talent as an actor helped him become a household name on television. He launched an acting career in film with huge ambitions and found considerable fame for his comedic performances. The career of his character was further boosted after he was praised for his portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. Over time the actor's acting abilities developed and he was able exploring the possibility of directing and production. As a result of his performance in Birdman (2014) the actor was awarded numerous nominations and awards.
